The Greensboro Center for Pediatric Dentistry strives to create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. We want you and your child to feel at home, knowing we offer advanced, child-friendly dentistry in a welcoming, safe, and fun-filled atmosphere.
Our goal is to ensure that your child's visits are worry-free so they feel comfortable and gain trust in the dental environment. We want them to be healthy as well as confident when they "graduate" to an adult dentist.

Our Longevity and Knowledge: We have served the Greensboro community since 1984, and Drs. Goldenberg, Pierce, and Applebaum have a combined 60+ years of experience in the specialty. They have the skills and knowledge required to deliver stress-free care that is designed to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
Our Doctors: Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. We provide specialized comprehensive, preventive, and therapeutic oral healthcare for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special healthcare needs. Our doctors each completed a post-dental school training program with an emphasis on restorative dental care, child psychology, growth and development, and trauma.
Our Commitment to Family-Friendly Dentistry: We believe in building a partnership with parents and children. Our doctors emphasize prevention and patient/parent education so every child grows up with great oral health as and healthy habits. We take time to learn what you want for your child, to understand your concerns, and to walk you through all proposed care. You are welcome to accompany your child into our clinic so you can see us in action, ask questions, and reassure your child.
Your Child’s First Visit
During the first visit, our team will introduce your son or daughter to a dental cleaning. We most often do this in our open bay, so new patients can learn from our more experienced patients. It gives them a chance to see how those children feel secure and at ease. If your child is not ready for an exam and cleaning in the open bay, we will invite you into one of our smaller, private rooms where they can sit on your lap throughout the process!
We are all skilled at connecting with children and want to build a trusting relationship with your child. We use age and developmentally appropriate language to explain everything, encourage questions, and provide lots of positive feedback.
We expect children to be kids, not little adults, and we appreciate your child’s individuality!
